Actors of all genres spend a lifetime training and honing their acting skills. The acting techniques taught in this class are the foundation of performance.

Throughout this class students will learn acting basics and skills necessary to work as an ensemble, gain self confidence, and learn how a performance comes to life. Warm-ups, stage direction, theater etiquette, character analysis, physical/vocal expression, and scene work are all fundamental acting skills that will take center stage during this nine week class.

Students will discover how to use their body and voice to create convincing characters, improve their ability to communicate emotions, and work together to tell a story. Working as an ensemble, students will perform a scene on their final class day showcase.

This class is great for any young person who wants to continue to hone their acting skills, but not participate in a full production.
