3-WEEK sUMMER cAMP

Wisconsin Theater Arts’ 3-Week Summer Musical Camp runs weekdays and culminates in a weekend performance of a Junior OR Youth version show. These age-appropriate productions are adapted versions of well-known Broadway musicals, featuring shorter runtimes and content to suited to the skill levels of our youth ages 9-18. The camp is designed to introduce youth to the joys of musical theater through fun, engaging performances.

Announcing...

SUMMER CAMP 2026!

Seize the Day with Disney’s uplifting musical that has captivated, inspired, and thrilled

young audiences for generations.

Newsies was inspired by the rousing true story of newsboys in turn-of-the-century New York City.

When powerful newspaper publishers, like Joseph Pulitzer, raise prices at the newsboys' expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions that the newsboys and all children in New York City are facing. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what's right.

Newsies JR. is a shortened version of the 2012 Broadway musical that was based on the 1992 film. It features a Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman and a book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein.
