This workshop will cover jazz dance and tap dance basics for musical theater choreography. As we cover the various jazz and tap dance steps you’ll learn how they’re put together into musical theater audition choreography and be better prepared for that next audition!

Footwear Required:

• Jazz Dance Sneakers work best. Regular tennis shoes/sneakers are fine as long as they are not the slip on style as those do not provide enough foot support.
• Tap Shoes

Students will be required to wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move easily. Clothing options could be: yoga pants, sweatpants, athletic pants, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc… are acceptable. Ladies, please no revealing garments.

Dressing in layers is always a good idea, especially in cooler weather.
