Young actors will learn (or continue to build) acting skills necessary to work as an ensemble and gain self confidence.
Warm-ups, stage direction, theater etiquette, character analysis, and scene work are all fundamental acting skills that will take center stage during this nine week class.
In addition, students will have the opportunity to delve into prop, set, and costume design. Students will discover how to use their body and voice to create convincing characters, improve their ability to communicate emotions, and work together as an ensemble to tell a story.
Working as an ensemble, students will perform a scene on their final class day showcase.
