Apply for a Class Scholarship

Available to Wisconsin resident students in grades K-12. Scholarships (tuition reduction) are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis based on community donations given directly to the Mary Pat Sutherland Scholarship Fund. There is no automatic guarantee of scholarship approval.

Eligibility is determined by the current status of your Wisconsin State Healthcare and FoodShare benefits. To qualify, you will be required to attach a digital copy of your most recent “Information about eligibility” letter from the State of Wisconsin Centralized Document Processing Unit directly to your Ludus class registration form.

How to Download Your State Eligibility Letter

  • Go to the official state ACCESS website at access.wi.gov.
    Click the Log in button.
  • Enter your secure user ID and password, and click Login.
  • Once on your Account Home page dashboard, click View My Letters in the main menu selection.
  • Click “View” located to the far right of your most recent “Information about eligibility” letter.
  • Once the document opens up on your monitor, click the down arrow icon to download and save the file to your computer or phone.

How to Register via Ludus

When you fill out your child’s registration form inside our online Ludus box office portal, look closely for our custom scholarship questionnaire tracking fields:

  1. Select the “YES” radio button next to the question: “I am requesting a scholarship.”
  2. Click the “Choose Files” button next to “Download eligibility letter” to upload your saved state verification PDF. (Note: If you are applying for more than one student or program track, please rename the file on your device each time you upload, e.g., File.pdf, File1.pdf, File2.pdf).
  3. When you advance to the final “Review and Confirm” checkout page, select the option labeled “INVOICE ME.” This safely completes your registration form at a temporary $0 balance without forcing an immediate credit card payment.

Once your form is submitted, our managing director will verify your attached letter and contact you via email regarding the official approval status of your tuition request.
